TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Classes

1.1 All classes, with the exception of specified open classes, are closed to onlookers.

1.2 Students must be punctual. This is particularly important for dance classes, to ensure students participate in warm-ups and reduce the risk of injury.

1.3 If a student will be late or absent, the student or guardian must contact reception prior to the commencement of the class.

2. Fee Payments

2.1 A non-refundable annual Enrolment/Administration fee of $150.00 is payable upon enrolment. This fee does not contribute to tuition.

2.2 Families must notify Showfit Studios of a student’s withdrawal from classes or performances prior to the end of Term 3. Failure to do so will result in liability for the cost of those classes and any associated performance or rehearsal costs.

2.3 Enrolment at Showfit Studios requires participation in all rehearsals and performances as scheduled. If a student cannot participate, Showfit Studios must be notified immediately via email at accounts@showfitstudios.com. Associated costs for missed performances or rehearsals remain the responsibility of the family unless otherwise agreed.

2.4 Where payment terms are not met, the student will be excluded from classes and performances until all outstanding fees are paid.

2.5 A late fee of 10% will be automatically added to invoices more than two weeks overdue.

2.6 Fee payments are non-refundable. In exceptional cases of illness or injury, a credit note may be issued upon presentation of appropriate medical documentation.

2.7 Students are expected to participate in all scheduled productions, classes, and rehearsals.

2.8 Additional costume fees may apply for productions. These fees are non-refundable.

3. Copyright, Recordings and Photography

3.1 Showfit Studios may use images or recordings of students’ classroom or performance work for publicity purposes.

3.2 Showfit Studios may use recordings of students in classes, rehearsals, or productions for publicity without further consent.

4. Health & Accidents

4.1 Anyone experiencing illness or symptoms of a contagious condition must not attend classes and should notify reception. Students may return once they are well and, where required, a medical clearance may be requested.

4.2 Students must advise Showfit Studios at enrolment if they have any health concerns or require medication. Showfit Studios staff are not responsible for administering medications.

4.3 In the event of an accident or emergency where it is impractical to contact a parent or guardian, Showfit Studios or its authorised representative may consent to the student receiving medical care or surgical treatment deemed necessary. Families are responsible for any related medical expenses.

4.4 Participation in Showfit Studios’ activities involves physical movement and carries inherent risks. Students and parents/guardians acknowledge this risk.
